- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup water, or more as needed
- 1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
- 1 pound cubed beef stew meat
- 4 ounces cream cheese
Directions
- In a slow cooker, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, water, and dry onion soup mix.
- Add the cubed beef stew meat to the soup mixture and stir to combine.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, or on High for 4 hours, until the beef is tender. Check for doneness after 2 hours.
- Once the beef is tender, stir in the cream cheese until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
