Before the season - Motorcycle preparation

Air filter: if it is paper, we simply replace it if the mesh or sponge is cleaning and if the instructions recommends the special preparation.

Ignition candles: At least check the status of their wear (eg a break between the electrodes) and clean. Exchange according to the manufacturer's instructions (usually CO 10   —   15 thousand km). This is a fairly important element whose neglect may affect the deterioration of the engine's operation.

BRAKE: Control blocking of blocks (the thickness of the cladding should be a minimum of 1.5 mm) and the discs, as well as the amount and degree of brake fluid consumption. Block control should facilitate special grooves placed by the manufacturer. In the case of brake discs, the minimum thickness is usually about 5 mm, the most common value is knocked down on the shield. If necessary, we are obviously mentioned above. We control the brake fluid in a special pane, it should be almost colorless, if it has a tea color, it is necessary to exchange (usually every or less 2 years).

It is also worth checking the entire motorcycle in terms of possible leaks located in it (fuel, brake system, suspension, refrigeration system). The frequency of their replacement is usually determined by the motorcycle manufacturer (see service book).
